Vantage Mobility International (VMI) is a wheelchair accessible vehicle manufacturer based in Phoenix, AZ. VMI has been converting Toyota, Honda, Chrysler, and Dodge minivans since 1987, making them a pioneer in the mobility industry. VMI began when its original founders faced a challenge: to build a better handicap-accessible van for a family friend. The rest is history.

VMI is rumored to be coming out with an all-new wheelchair accessible SUV: The VMI Honda Pilot. While it has not yet been publicly released, an industry source says we’ll hear news of the accessible Pilot break sometime before the new year. Until then, we can only imagine what will be.

The converted Honda Pilot is said to be made for families and caregivers looking to steer away from the traditional accessible minivan, making it seem like a great vehicle for those looking for both comfort and style.

This is the first SUV to be converted into a handicap-accessible vehicle by VMI. More information to follow once an official announcement has been made.
